We love supporting this local charity based in the centre of Manchester. After all, some of our team actually have a certain amount of history here, some of our parents and grandparents used to benefit from Wood Street Mission.
Over the years, d2 have been involved in giving support when we can. One day we even took our big mouse Roly to meet the children at one of their book events and give out copies of his favourite book, ‘Who ate the cheese?’ We also donated a computer and some of Roly’s favourite software too.
But now Christmas is approaching and once again Wood Street Mission need everybody’s support to make Christmas special for boys and girls in Manchester and Salford. It is their busiest time of the year and toys and food will be given out to lots of local struggling families. This year they are appealing for donations of new toys, gifts and books suitable for children up to the age of 18. If you or your company would like to help and get involved, you can find more information here http://www.woodstreetmission.org.uk/
It’s a great charity, I know we at d2 will be supporting the Christmas appeal again this year, hope you can too.
