Brief

To create an essential resource for preventing violent extremism. Resource was aimed at teachers and professionals working with KS4, who want to cover the topic of violent extremism and provide practical information and advice to support the delivery the ‘Learning together to be safe toolkit’ in schools.

Solution

At d2 Digital we designed effective online resource for preventing violent extremism- ‘Where’s the line’. This resource provides an overview of the topic of violent extremism, drawing on local and recent manifestations in order to help students identify and protect themselves from the dangers of violent extremism. ‘Where’s the Line’ resource contains material which teachers can use to stimulate discussion and debate in the class room as well as a practical guide to delivering this material in a safe and non offensive manner. Resource raises awareness of the role of all the partners involved in preventing violent extremism and helps to shape student behaviour encouraging its reporting.
