To create a content managed website that supports the Government’s PREVENT agenda, particularly looking at young people and extremism. The website works in collaboration with a theatre piece touring nationally to explore the issues facing young people around extremism.

Solution

The Extreme News website provides lesson and other support materials to be used by young people at home or in the classroom. Young people can comment on issues surrounding extremism. The website is set to move into a second phase of development that will see more user generated content. The website was recently mentioned by Gordon Brown in a speech to Parliament and extensive SEO work also means the site performs consistently well in search engine results.
