Brief

Connecting Cultures is a unique educational initiative promoting face to face dialogue with young people from the western and Arab world via short wilderness journeys. Our task was to improve the education section of the current website.

Solution

We created a space where young ambassadors can have their say by getting involved in moderated, monthly discussions. They can test themselves with our quizzes, and take part in our polls. There are twelve downloadable 40 minute lesson plans focusing on defining culture, identifying causes of cultural misunderstanding, examining the role of the media, and seeking to identify causes of and solutions to extremism. This site will be converted into Arabic in 2009.
