If you were lucky enough to be out in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens on the 9th of April 2010 you may have bumped into a few of the d2 team. Nicola, Jon, Matt, Roly and I were all out to make the most of the good weather. So how do you know if you’ve bumped into some of the d2 team? Well Jon is tall, I have short hair and Roly; well Roly is a big pink cuddly mouse!
Although mice are usually timid creatures, Roly loves attention! He was out getting hugs and high fives from the children (and some of the grownups) as well as getting his picture taken like some sort of celebrity mouse.
So what was the reason for Roly’s venture? Well he was out to promote The Mouse Club website, a free website created by d2 where children can go to play fun games and activities. In addition Roly was also out the put a smile on the face of the citizens of Manchester... or did he have an ulterior motive?
